Astro Ventures LLC d/b/a SwoopClean ("SwoopClean," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use our website, mobile applications, and cleaning services.

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

• Identifiers: Name, email address, phone number, and account credentials
• Property Information: Service address, property details, and access instructions
• Photos: Images uploaded for AI-powered quote estimation
• Payment Information: Credit/debit card details (processed and stored securely by Stripe; we do not store card numbers)
• Communication Preferences: SMS opt-in status, email preferences, notification settings
• Location Data: Service area zip codes and addresses provided for booking

We also automatically collect certain information when you use our services, including device information, IP address, browser type, pages visited, and interaction data through cookies and similar technologies.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our cleaning services
• Generate accurate quotes using AI-powered photo analysis (Google Gemini)
• Process payments and send receipts via Stripe
• Send booking confirmations, service reminders, and updates via SMS and email
• Match you with available cleaning professionals in your service area
• Respond to your comments, questions, and support requests
• Communicate about promotions and new services (only with your explicit consent)
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity

3. Photo Data and AI Processing

When you upload photos for quote estimation, your images are processed as follows:

• AI Processing: Photos are sent to Google Gemini AI for automated analysis to assess room conditions, cleaning scope, and generate accurate pricing estimates. Google processes these images under our data processing agreement and does not use your photos to train their general AI models.
• Storage: Photos are stored securely with encryption at rest in our cloud infrastructure.
• Retention: Photos are automatically deleted after 90 days from upload. You may request immediate deletion at any time.
• No Marketing Use: Your photos are never shared with third parties for marketing, advertising, or any purpose unrelated to your cleaning service.
• Opt-Out: You may decline to upload photos and instead describe your cleaning needs manually. Photo upload is optional and not required to use our services.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with the following categories of recipients:

• Cleaning Professionals: Independent contractors assigned to your service receive only the information necessary to perform the cleaning (name, address, access instructions, service details).
• Payment Processor (Stripe): Processes your payment securely. Stripe's privacy policy governs their use of your payment data.
• SMS Provider (Twilio): Delivers SMS notifications you have consented to receive. Twilio is contractually obligated to protect your data.
• AI Provider (Google): Processes uploaded photos for quote analysis under our data processing agreement.
• Analytics Providers: Help us understand site usage and improve our services (data is aggregated or anonymized).
• Legal Compliance: We may disclose information when required by law, legal process, or government request.

5. SMS and Mobile Data Protection

We will never sell, share, or rent your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Your mobile information may only be shared with our SMS service provider (Twilio) solely for the purpose of delivering notifications you have explicitly consented to receive. Twilio is contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for delivering our messages.

When you opt in to receive SMS notifications from SwoopClean, your phone number is used solely for:

• Sending booking confirmations and service reminders
• Notifying you of cleaner arrival and service updates
• Sending appointment cancellation confirmations
• Responding to your text message inquiries

You may opt out of SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP to any message. Your phone number will remain in our database for account management purposes, but you will no longer receive SMS notifications. To fully delete your phone number from our records, submit a data deletion request to privacy@swoopclean.com.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest, secure authentication, access controls, and regular vulnerability assessments. For more details, see our Security page.

While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.

We do not respond to "Do Not Track" signals at this time, as there is no industry-standard protocol for such signals. However, you can opt out of analytics tracking by adjusting your browser settings.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. After account closure, we retain data as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Specific retention periods:

• Photos: 90 days from upload
• Booking records: 7 years (tax and legal compliance)
• Account data: Until deletion is requested
• SMS opt-in records: Duration of account plus 3 years

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.
