California Privacy Notice (CCPA/CPRA)

This California Privacy Notice supplements the SwoopClean Privacy Policy and applies to California residents, as required by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). Astro Ventures LLC d/b/a SwoopClean ("SwoopClean," "we," "us," or "our") provides this notice to inform you of your rights and our data practices.

Under the CPRA, certain categories of personal information are considered "sensitive." We may collect the following sensitive personal information:

• Precise Geolocation: Service property addresses used to match you with nearby cleaning professionals and to provide location-based service updates.
• Account Log-In Credentials: Email and password combinations used for account authentication.

We use sensitive personal information only for purposes permitted by the CPRA, including providing the services you request. We do not use sensitive personal information for profiling or advertising purposes.

You have the right to limit the use and disclosure of your sensitive personal information. See Section 4 below.

We collect and use personal information for the following business purposes:

• Providing and managing cleaning services
• Processing bookings and payments
• Communicating service updates via SMS and email
• AI-powered photo analysis for accurate quote generation
• Customer support and dispute resolution
• Detecting and preventing fraud or security incidents
• Improving our services and user experience

Categories of Third Parties

We may disclose personal information to these categories of third parties for business purposes:

• Service Providers: Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS), Google (AI photo analysis), cloud hosting providers
• Independent Contractors: Cleaning professionals (limited to information needed for service delivery)
• Legal and Regulatory: Law enforcement or government agencies when required by law

We do not sell personal information. We have not sold personal information in the preceding 12 months.

We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Your California Privacy Rights

As a California resident, you have the following rights under the CCPA/CPRA:

• Right to Know: You may request that we disclose what categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of collection, the business purpose, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
• Right to Delete: You may request that we delete the personal information we have collected about you, subject to certain exceptions (e.g., legal compliance, completing a transaction).
• Right to Correct: You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
• Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. SwoopClean does not currently sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: You may request that we limit our use of your sensitive personal information to only what is necessary to provide the services you request.
• Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights. You will not receive different pricing, quality of service, or access to our services for exercising your rights.

Verification: To protect your privacy, we must verify your identity before responding to your request. We will ask you to confirm information associated with your account (such as your email address and recent booking details). If we cannot verify your identity, we may not be able to fulfill your request.

Authorized Agents: You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. Authorized agents must provide proof of authorization (such as a signed written permission or power of attorney). We may still require you to verify your identity directly.

Response Timing: We will acknowledge your request within 10 business days and provide a substantive response within 45 calendar days of receiving your verifiable request. If we need additional time (up to 90 days total), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in our Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Specific retention periods:

• Photos: 90 days from upload, then automatically deleted
• Booking and payment records: 7 years (tax and legal compliance)
• Account data: Until deletion is requested and processed
• SMS consent records: Duration of account plus 3 years
• Website analytics: 26 months

7. Financial Incentive Programs

We may offer referral programs or loyalty discounts. Participation is voluntary and you may opt out at any time. We estimate the value of personal information collected through these programs based on the discount or incentive provided, and we believe the value is reasonably related to the overall value of the data to our business.

We may update this California Privacy Notice from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated notice on our website and updating the "Last updated" date.
